Our New Summer Cocktails

We are always looking to partner with like-minded suppliers on exciting seasonal sips. We have collaborated with spirit brands that reflect our provenance and zero-waste ethos to bring you delicious summer cocktails perfect for afternoons on the terrace or evenings in the dining room with friends.


The Shed bar has a diverse mix of no-nonsense spirits, which reflect our love for local, wild, zero-waste, and sustainability lead ingredients. We are dedicated to a cocktail list that reflects our values and style. We use British alternatives in classic cocktails like our 'British Negroni' or Shedspresso martini and infuse syrups and tinctures in-house to create unique and sometimes wild cocktails.


This season, we have partnered with Discarded Rum and Hendrick's Gin across the Local & Wild group to bring our guests sensational summer cocktails best enjoyed on the terrace, in the British sunshine, or with friends before an evening of exceptional dining indoors.


At The Shed, guests are encouraged to try this ridiculously delicious rum, Discarded, made using an otherwise discarded ingredient, the banana peel. As regulars or fans of The Shed, you will know that this is right up our alley as we highly value any supplier that gets behind the zero-waste movement.


We are serving a Banana Peel Old Fashioned made with Discarded banana peel rum, chocolate bitters, and sugar syrup. An exciting take on a classic - just how we like to do it!
Discarded is a cask-aged rum infused with the extract of banana peel. The additional flavour profile comes from an unlikely source, banana peel. As an extract, banana peel provides a fresh toffee note with a fruity balance that perfectly complements the complexity of the base rum.


Another highlight and summer-long feature on the menu is Hendrick's Gin's 'Salty Dog'. Hendrick's wondrous botanical signature consists of flowers, roots, fruits, and seeds. They function to complement and set the stage for our delicious duet of infusion: rose petal and cucumber. We are serving this fun cocktail as a twist on 'The Greyhound'. Coined "wickedly naughty" by Hendrick's, this cocktail is everything you need on a summer's afternoon to ready the tastebuds for a delicious meal; sweetness, acid, freshness, salt, and of course, gin.


The Salty Dog is made from Hendrick's gin, pink grapefruit, Double Dutch soda water, sugar syrup, and a grapefruit salt rim made using grapefruit skins. Served tall over ice, it is the ultimate summer sip!


Enjoy our new summer cocktail menu in The Shed main dining room or outside on our decked terrace. Guests are encouraged to please make a reservation, but we do welcome walk-ins.
