At The Shed we're always looking to bring our guests closer to their food by creating an experience centered around local and wild cookery. Our Tasting Menu does just that through showcasing an exciting range of produce sourced from the best areas in England. By using our West Sussex farm and surrounds as a local larder, this menu is a true celebration of "what grows together, goes together."
Let our team take you through the flavours of the countryside as course-by-course we serve dishes inspired by the English landscape from coast to field and the forest floor. Our refined focus and passion for seasonal, local and wild ingredients ensures that a meal is memorable beyond its look or taste but rather for the journey of eating contemporary farm to fork dishes.
Our tasting menu changes daily but expect to be served delicious dishes from Sussex venison ravioli to baked Gurnard with caramelised chicory and sweet treats like white chocolate and cranberry fudge.
The Local & Wild Tasting Menu is £45 per person with an optional wine flight for £38. It is available for dinner every Monday evening and for both lunch and dinner from Tuesday - Saturday.
